WHAT WE DO
We design beautiful Fashionable dresses.
Best known for her eponymous label, Anamika Khanna is much revered in the industry. Her collection is an act of presenting India's rich craft encapsulated in global contours. Anamika's philosophy is about innovation with regards to the Indian style, while also keeping it extremely relevant to the modern world. For instance, the dhoti pant, commonly accredited to the brand, is now accepted as a modern high waist trouser worn with a dupatta or the Indian skirt. Another example is the pick up skirt where the silhouette is used within an Indian context. Anamika used soft fabrics with added drapes while clinching it to the waist for structure. Teamed up with kurtas and capes, boots and shirts gives a perfect example of modern relevance.
Seen as highbrow and sartorial in equal measure, Anamika has been reigning the crown of many firsts. From being the first Indian woman to showcase her collection in the Paris Fashion Week to being part of the Business of Fashion 500 list, Anamika is considered a role model to women in India.
Anamika Khanna is all about finding your own personal style and having the dream and vision to express them to the world around you.

The couture collection: An Experiment
Stemming from an extreme need for change and pushing boundaries, this collection is an open field for experimentation. An awareness of the spectacular Indian silhouettes, textiles and sentiments, we move to amalgamate something old, something new.The shapes are inspired by the “goddess” paired with deconstruction and pattern making techniques. There is also referencing to the ever exuberant tribal India, approached with an eye of modernism. We are unafraid to align, non aligned perceptions.

LFW | Nexa presents AK-OK by Anamika Khanna
The collection hinges on modernity and is timeless at the same time, pieces that translate easily from day to night and the aesthetic has no borders. The shapes are easy and fluid, the color palette moves from whites and blacks, into blues, little bits of metal and finally into 'everything'.
Lakme Fashion Week | First Ever Phygital Edition
As we constantly move forward, it is inevitable to look back and be inspired by timeless designs. That is the idea behind the collection Anamika Khanna made for the first-ever phygital edition of FDCI x Lakmé Fashion Week. The collection showcases a wide variety of styles for men and women, from asymmetric kurtas to open-cut sherwanis and structured shirts. It’s a homage to the ever-changing nature of the world, where the only thing left behind will be our legacy. The collection weaves a fictional narrative where a 24-year-old finds a treasure trove of textiles in a trunk in an attic and dreams up a collection that is modern, yet recognizes the timelessness of the Indian heritage.
